- Judge Renzi enjoys nearly 20 years experience as a judge. Prior to his election to County Court in 2002, he served as a Henrietta Town Judge for twelve years. He began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Monroe County, and later opened up his own law office, handling a wide range of cases
In Monroe County Court Judge Renzi has presided over hundreds of felony-level criminal cases, from indictment to trial, including murder, manslaughter, sexual assaults, and other violent crimes, as well as drug and DWI offenses.
During his current term Judge Renzi has also served as an acting Family Court Judge and Supreme Court Justice. As an acting Supreme Court Justice, he has presided over matrimonial cases in Monroe County, and was later assigned that duty in Steuben County, where he continues to hear cases to this day.
In 2007 Judge Renzi was appointed the acting Supreme Court Justice in charge of supervising all village, town, and justice courts for Monroe, Livingston, and Steuben Counties.
Judge Renzi is a graduate of Syracuse University, and received his law degree from Emory Law School in Atlanta.
