- Born in the Bronx, Judge Wilson earned a BA in Philosophy/Political Science from Fordham College in 1983. After graduating from Pace University School of Law in 1986, Judge Wilson was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1986, and the New York Bar in 1987.
After serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, Judge Wilson was a Senior Trial Associate for the Hartford Insurance Co. In 1992, he entered private practice, where he concentrated on personal injury and criminal defense matters.
Judge Wilson was elected to serve as a Civil Court Judge for Bronx County in November of 2004. He ran unopposed on the Democratic, Republican and Conservative lines after winning the Democratic Primary in September of that year.
As of January, 2006, Judge Wilson has been assigned to sit in Brooklyn Criminal Court where he handles arraignments during the evening session.
