Candidate Biography
Personal Statement |
- I am one of six full-time Yonkers City Court Judges, elected in 2005. During the past four years, I have gained the respect of fellow judges, attorneys, and litigants, for my professionism, fariness, intellect, and judicial temperment. I have extensive experience in both civil and criminal law, presiding over jury trials, and writing decisions that have been chosen for publication by the New York Law Journal.
At all times, I have treated litigants and attorneys with respect and courtesy, and will continue to do so in Supreme Court. I have been endorsed by the New York State Supreme Court Officers Association, New York State Troopers PBA, New York State Troopers Investigators Association, New York State Professional Firefighters Association, Westchester-Putnam AFL-CIO Central Labor Body, Westchester-Putnam Building Construction Trades Council, CSEA Local 1000, SEIU Local 704, Affilliated Police Association of Westchester, Yonkers Police PBA, Yonkers Police CLS, Yonkers Firefighters Local 628, and White Plains Police PBA.
I live in Yonkers with my wife, Dori, and our sons, Troy, 3 1/2 and Alexander ("Ace"), 15 months.
Thank you for your consideration and your vote November 3.
